The 7-blade propeller significantly exceeds the performance of 5-blade propellers in certain applications.

MT-Propeller was founded in 1980 by Gerd Muehlbauer, who had already 20 years of experience in propeller development and service at this time. He started his new own company on January 2nd 1981 at the Airport Straubing-Wallmuehle (EDMS) in Germany with 6 employees in a small, one-storey airport owned building.
