PC-12 Silent 7 Propeller - Now with improved certified take-off performance

The popular 7-bladed MTV-47 MT-Propeller "The Silent 7" is now approved for even shorter take-off distances to further increase the operational capability of the PC-12, through EASA STC 10014953 R6 and FAA STC SA02742NY.

An AFMS with details on the take-off performance is available from MT-Propeller.

  • Further advantages of installing the Silent 7 on the PC-12 Series:
  • no engine modifications necessary; c
  • ertified ground roll distance reduced by approximately 10%;
  • certified take-off distance over a 50 ft obstacle reduced by approximately 15%;
  • improved climb performance;
  • aircraft noise level up to 4 dB(A) less than with the original metal propeller.

MT-Propeller was founded in 1980 by Gerd Muehlbauer, who had already 20 years of experience in propeller development and service at this time. He started his new own company on January 2nd 1981 at the Airport Straubing-Wallmuehle (EDMS) in Germany with 6 employees in a small, one-storey airport owned building.
